Toure solid in defence as Arsenal beat Juventus 2-0 in Champions League
March 28th, 2006 | By: Ade Lamidi | No Comments »

Kolo Toure the Cote d’Ivoire and Arsenal defender was superb as Arsenal kept might Juventus at bay in the first leg of their champions league clash which Arsenal won 2-0.
Kolo Toure won crucial tackles when it mattered and kept out Juventus’s David Trezequet and Zlatan Ibramovich two tall and dangerous strikers.
The good news for Cote d’Ivoire is that two of the Arsenal defenders Emmanuel Eboue and Kolo Toure on show tonite will probably start for Cote d’Ivoire when they start their World Cup campaign against Argentina.
And Champions League experience is as good as it gets at this level.
