Toure and Drogba eye Africa’s biggest football prize.

February 6th, 2006 | By: Ade Lamidi | No Comments »

Cote d’Ivoire star players Kolo Toure and Didier Drogba are both confident in the Elephants ability to go on and win the African Nations cup. After an epic battle against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the quarter-final in which they won on penalties 12-11, both players are aware of the task facing them ahead when they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the semi-finals of the competition tomorrow.

Kolo Toure the star defender, believes his team has what it takes to go all the way in the competition.

Didier Drogba the captain, added that they have a team that is very organized and believes that will be the key to picking up the top African trophy for the second time in their history.

I say the Elephants are in for a very tough game against a very youthful, talented and tricky Nigerian team.
