Star striker short-listed for Glo-CAF Player of the Year award

Cote d’Ivoire captain and striker Didier Drogba will battle it out with fellow Chelsea team mate, Micheal Essien and Cameroon star Samuel Eto’o for the Glo-CAF Player of the Year Award. The trio where short-listed by coaches of the 53 national associations affiliated to the Confederation of African Football. The Awards ceremony comes up in Abuja, Nigeria on February 16.
