Marc Zoro goes AWOL
February 17th, 2006 | By: Ade Lamidi | No Comments »
Marco Zoro the Cote d’Ivoire defender has failed to return to his Italian club Messina from the African Cup of Nations.
The defender has been away on international duty for the last month after his Ivory Coast outfit lost to Egypt in Friday’s Final. The Serie A club were expecting him back in Sicily earlier this week, but the defender has so far failed to show up.
Marc Zoro has had a few problems whilst in Italy and during a game he was reduced to tears because of the racist taunts of the opposite fans.
The tough-tackling defender is sure not to take part in his team’s Seria A game against leaders Juventus on Saturday.
