Drogba’s ‘Hand of God’ goal ruled out
March 20th, 2006 | By: Ade Lamidi | No Comments »

Cote d’Ivoire striker Didier Drogba was at the centre of more controversy yesterday during the local West London match between Fulham and Chelsea. With Chelsea losing 1-0, Didier Drogba attempted to score with the help of his hand only for the eagle eye of referee Mike Dean to rule it out.
It was a difficult call as both the referee and his linesman didn’t actually see it. The right decision was made and having looked at it again on TV replay the referee was happy to rule it out.
I am a big fan of Didier Drogba and I would hope he will stick to playing football with either his head or legs in future.
His team Chelsea lost the game 1-0.
