Drogba and Didane to start for Cote d’Ivoire against Netherlands

After missing a lot of scoring chances against Argentina, Coach Michel will be looking to shuffle his striking department and start with both strikers Didier Drogba and Aruna Didane against Netherlands tomorrow. Aruna is the perfect foil for Drogba so that will make sense.

Playmaker Bonaventure Kalou looks likely to drop to the bench as Coach Michel goes for goals against the Dutch.

Listen Abe! On a besoin de Bakary Kone!!! Kone B. is the solution. I dont understant why Michel doesnt c that. He will kill the Ducth down the wings. As a matter of fact he is the one that presented that wonderful 1st goal for our nation.

Yes, I had also noted before
match that Bakary Kone was
dimunitive, fast and agile -
the qualities needed to beat
defences and score, in the
likes of Maradona.

And score he well did in this
match against the Dutch, whom
I think were really lucky not to
lose. The Dutch actually had
fewer shots at goal, but just
happened to convert two of
them. They converted their
fewer chances, while the
Ivorians did not, due to somewhat
poorer finishing.

One of the Dutch goals were
from a set-piece from Van Persie.
Set-pieces are not teamwork
football.

Van Persie, Robben and Van
Nistelrooy are overrated, in my
opinion.

From their performance in this
match, I am quite certain the
Dutch don’t have the caliber
to win the cup.
