Cote d’Ivoire strikers Didier Drogba and Bakary Kone both hit the target last weekend but their goals were unable to stop their respective teams losing in Cup games. Didier Drogba pulled one goal back for Chelsea in his team’s FA Cup 2-1 semi-final defeat against Liverpool.

And Bakary Kone was on target for his French club Nice in the French League cup final but his goal wasn’t enough as his team lost Nancy 2-1.
