Cote d’Ivoire goal hunters

Cote d’Ivoire will be spoilt for choice when Henri Michel finally selects the strikers that will lead the attack for his team in the World Cup. On paper, Didier Drogba, Koné Arouna, Koné Bakari, Aruna Dindane and Kalou Bonaventure will be in any squad but their are also the pretenders that hardly any one knows but quietly ply their trade in different leagues in Europe.

Here is a list of those unknown guys that might be seeking a place for the World Cup in Germany.

Boubacar Sanogo - Plays for German Bundesliga club Kaiserslautern and has scored 10 goals this season. An elegant striker with an impressive gaugue, Sanogo is a poison for defenses in Bundesliga.

Amare Diané - Plays for Strasbourg in the French Ligue 1 and has scored 6 goals for the French team.

Keïta Abdul Kader - Plays for Lille as well in the French Ligue 1. Another player with two good feet and has scored 5 goals for his team.

Eli Kroupi - Plays for Nancy and has also bagged 6 goals this season to his credit.

Konan Axel Cédric - Plays in the Italian League for Lecce.

I am sure Henri Michel will be keeping tabs on the fringe players to add spice to his final 23 for Germany.
