Cote d’Ivoire the run away leaders in Group A face host nation Egypt in a potential group decider in Cairo tomorrow. Both teams have started their Nations Cup campaign well and ‘The Elephants’ would be looking for at least a point to top the Group.

Egypt, on the other hand would be going for a win to stand any chance of finishing top of the group. Either team would want to top the Group as this could mean avoiding the winners of Group B most likely to be Cameroon in the quarter-finals. And Egypt would surely not want to lose as that could allow Morocco, who have a point from two matches to snatch second place.

Egyptian striker Mido has already predicted a Cote d’Ivoire Vs Egypt final. I hope he is a good astrologer and Egypt gets a win against Cote d’Ivoire tomorrow. A draw or less would give them the possibility of playing the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the next round. That would be tough luck.
