Cote d’Ivoire to face Spanish in warm up match

Cote d’Ivoire will play Spain in a friendly match on March 1 in Valladolid, the Spanish Football Federation has announced. It will be the first time Cote d’Ivoire, who are making their debut at the World Cup Finals, will play Spain. The match should see the likes of Didier Drogba playing against club team mate Asiel Del Horno. It’s always difficult what to make of friendly warm up matches prior to World Cup Finals, but with both Cote d’Ivoire and Spain facing European and African opposition respectively in the tournament, this friendly match should give both managers a sample of what to expect when the World Cup Final kicks off in June.
