Cote d’Ivoire first through to quarter finals of Nations Cup

Cote d’Ivoire are the first country to qualify for the African Nations Cup quarter-finals after their 2-1 win over Libya yesterday. A draw between Egypt and Morocco meant the Elephants have qualified, and only need a draw in their last group game against Egypt to guarantee first place in Group A.

Henri Michel, the Elephant’s coach was quoted as saying “ I am delighted that we’ve qualified for the quarter-finals and credit go to the players.”
